Bring Your First Product to Market With Confidence.

A first launch is more than finding a factory. Design, engineering, packaging, and sourcing all have to work together from day one. We do that work with you, so your first product ships without the mistakes that sink most first launches.

STARTING POINT

Show Us the Idea.

A rough sketch, AI-generated concept, reference product, existing sample, or a design you've already developed with another designer or agency can all be valid starting points. We review what already exists, identify what is ready to move forward, and work out what still needs to be resolved before manufacturing.

That's enough to start. From there, we can assess what needs to be worked out before the product moves into development.

Confidential concept? We can put an NDA in place before you share the details.

PLANNING A KICKSTARTER OR INDIEGOGO LAUNCH?

Get the Manufacturing Numbers Before You Set the Funding Goal.

Before launching, get a credible view of production cost, MOQ, tooling, packaging, shipping, and delivery timing so the campaign isn't built around assumptions.

FEASIBILITY + FIRST-RUN ECONOMICS

Pressure-Test It Before You Commit.

A product can be possible to manufacture and still be the wrong first product to launch. Before you invest in detailed development or tooling, we look at the numbers behind it: target retail price, production cost, materials, construction, MOQ, tooling, compliance, and realistic first-run volume.

ONE CONNECTED TEAM

One Team Accountable From Idea to Delivery

You shouldn't have to project-manage a designer, engineer, factory, testing lab, packaging supplier, and logistics team yourself. Kenyield becomes the team connecting those decisions: product design is developed with manufacturing in mind, sourcing knows what engineering approved, quality knows what the final sample should match, logistics knows how the finished product needs to move.

When the product is ready before the cash flow is

Product development and production costs do not always line up neatly with when sales revenue arrives.

For qualifying projects, financing may be available for tooling, purchase orders, and inventory.

PROTOTYPE TO PRODUCTION

Tooling, Samples & Your First Run

This is where the product becomes real, and where the financial commitments start getting bigger.

We move through tooling, samples, revisions, and pre-production approval before the first manufacturing run begins. The goal is simple: everyone should be working toward the same physical product before production scales it.

You approve the important decisions before production moves forward.

CHANNEL READINESS

Ready for Wherever You are Selling.

Selling through your own store, Amazon, retail, or crowdfunding can require different packaging, labeling, testing, documentation, and delivery setups. We build those requirements into the production plan early so the product is ready for the channel it’s meant to enter.

Build for the destination before the product leaves the factory.

Delivering to Kickstarter or Indiegogo Backers?

Plan the Delivery Before You Promise the Date.

A successful campaign can create thousands of delivery commitments at once. The production plan, packaging, inspections, shipping, and fulfillment assumptions need to be realistic before those promises are made.

EXPERIENCE BEHIND YOUR FIRST LAUNCH

Your First Product Doesn't Have to Be Our First.

There’s a lot to get right before a first product reaches production. Materials, tooling, samples, factory selection, quality standards, packaging, and production all have to come together. We bring more than 30 years of product experience to help you navigate those decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

We build the production plan around your actual launch volume, product economics, and realistic factory minimums rather than assuming the first order has to be enormous. For qualifying projects, we can also explore tooling, purchase-order, or inventory financing alongside the production plan.

Packaging, carton, barcode and item-data, testing, and logistics requirements vary by retailer. We identify the relevant requirements early enough to design around them, rather than retrofitting them after a buyer says yes.

Often yes. The right quantity depends on the product, materials, tooling, and target price. We review realistic factory minimums against your launch volume and explain where there's flexibility across our own facilities and network.

If patent protection may matter, that's worth discussing with a patent professional early, before publicly revealing the product — it isn't something we advise on ourselves. If the concept is confidential, we put an NDA in place before you share details.
